I really dream about making it on my own but my oven is very very small…
I cant buy casserole in a right size. I cant put anything above 26cm
diameter. Any ideas?

some whole cranberries in that sauce that have been allowed to marinade in
white sugar in a freezer bag in the refrigerator until it becomes a syrup
would have been awesome for the sauce…..

Dear Chef Gordon. Being Portuguese, I have eaten lamb many ways. Still this
was one of the best lamb dishes I have tried (and probably one of your best
recipies). I am dieing to make it again! Thanks.

The oil from the cumin seeds will help to tendorise the meat? Love’em but
these TV chefs really do come out with some crap sometimes.

I have made these for tonight for my stepmothers birthday, but the deep pan
was tricky, it was a bit slimmer and taller so i think I’ve put too much
Wine In… Does it ruin the meal? I made sure the sauce still tastes good,
adding some more spices, but does the extra amount of liquid have a
negative influence on my lamb cooking In the Owen?

Such a shame (for the viewer) that his shows on television portray him as
such a nasty person. Many chefs who care about what they do are nasty on
occasion. The whole system of the modern kitchen as defined by Escoffier
is a military system of the high ranking chef, to his subordinates of Sous
Chef, line cooks etc. It is a system that has a purpose to get everything
done with precision and as fast as possible, without losing quality.
Ramsay is a great modern chef and he has great passion for good food, which
is really 80% of what you need to be a chef. Dedication, repetition,
study, and working for other chefs has all the ingredients to create a
great chef. If Ramsey yelled at me in the kitchen, I would like to think I
would have only one reply (at least while on the job), and that is “yes
chef!”. After work and over a few beers while mingling with the other
cooks, we might be calling him an asshole, but never in the kitchen.
Thanks Gordon. You have elevated the twinkie eating generation a notch
higher.
