And it’s a key ingredient in miso soup, which I find most vegetarians don’t
know, considering it seems to be their go-to soup when available.
Certain dashi are much stronger or flavorful than others. I’m fairly
certain I use the top left brand in the 0:10 mark, it’s not overly bitter
like other products. Is it actually good?
I like to mix some dashi stock with soy sauce and mirin to make a quick
udon soup.
I always see people put this ontop of Japanese food. Very informative, I
finally know what this is.
