Ingredients for Sanma Takikomi Gohan (serves 2)
1 Sanma – Pacific Saury

70g Carrot (2.47oz)
150g Shimeji & Maitake Mushrooms (5.29oz)
1 piece of Ginger
2 Sudachi – Green Citrus or 1/2 Lemon
A bundle of Long Green Onion

360cc Rice (1.52 u.s. cup)

– Dashi Stock –
340cc Water (1.44 u.s. cup)
3g Granulated Kombu Dashi (0.106oz)
2 tbsp Soy Sauce
2 tbsp Sake

People nowadays seemed to be quite foul-mouthed, not caring tat their

I used to have my mom make this for me ALL THE TIME, when we lived in
Japan, just because it was named after my 2nd favorite hero of all time,
lol.

Can I use Alaska salmon (the big red kind) for this recipe? Also, I have
konbu but no konbu dashi. Can I just soak a small piece of konbu for 30 min
in water to achieve the same result?

I love this, It taught me how to make Oyakodon in like 5 minutes but you
gotta loose the dog girl! dat shit aint got nothin to do in the kitchen
dogs should either be outside of in the food.

@denienec123 of course. like i’m planning on using chicken instead of fish
because i can’t be bothered with small bones, or cleaning fish. i’ve tried
it before. wasn’t pretty. cleaning fish, i mean.
