I’m lazy. I’m American. Yet, I want to try this… LE GASP! What do I do?

Thankfully my grandma has a Potato Salad recipe that I like far better than
the one in the video (sorry no offense I just dont like some of the things
the woman added in the salad I’m a very picky eater sometimes ^^). And it’s
simple too. Her’s is just fresh potatoes, egg, mayo, mustard, pickle relish
and stuff like that. I think there might be a few other things but I’m
pretty sure thats all. She doesnt over-do it and add cruchy stuff. Fried
chicken the way that lady did it is pretty easy you just add some veggie
oil and stuff to a fryin pan on the stovetop and then cook. You need raw
chicken if you want it to really turn out well but even so its not that
expensive. I hate all that frozen/breaded meat my parents buy so I might
actually get them to try some of that. My mom said she’s ‘afraid of cooking
with real raw meat’ because she’s ‘squeamish’. >_< UGH! She COULD wear plastic gloves. That's what they're for is to prevent infection...Anyway, potato salad (the way my grandma makes it). Check. Fried chicken (pretty easy you dont need fancy asian spices if you cant get them). Check. You can roll spinach in egg like the way she did easily if you want, I like spinach to be honest and I also like mushrooms. Just my personal taste/liking. I might add some fruit into mine if I ever wanted to. And you also dont have to add Onigiri but I have a forgine shop that's in my town and I can get different types of ingridents. So maybe I'll stop by and see if I can get those spices they used on the rice. Either way, its really not that hard to make a bento like this. So why not try it yourself?

As a college student, I am usually really busy and, especially with my
schedule, I can’t always make it to the dining hall between classes to eat.
So I’m investing in a nice bento box that I can take with me and eat in the
ten minutes between my classes! Don’t know if I’ll be able to make
something this good in a dorm room though… Probably some microwaved
sticky rice and sauce. Anyone have any suggestions on what else I could
use? I only have a microwave…

Firstly can’t wait to make this for myself and future children. Secondly
looking at the comment I see everyone freaking out over racist jokes.
Seriously guys there just jokes an you need to let them roll off your
shoulders. We’re here to learn about cooking not argue over someone’s
preference of humor.

This is a really high maintenance meal. I’d rather hire a personal chef!

A year ago today my friend was sick in the hospital with cancer and she
said she wanted me to bring Bento for her for the weekend. She died two
days later… So to mark one year since she died i am going to make Bento
and watch Batman because we both loved Batman shows…
