I love the combination of flavors and fragrance. I’ve got to try this.

Nothing I make takes five minutes! The prep alone would take me about 5
minutes including pulling the stuff out of the fridge. Then again, hardly
ever cook for one.

It’s sad to see that none of these great videos are in true 1080p HD.
Surely someone has noticed these videos are blurry.

I just tried this dish…it was horrible and smelled like death.
I think that the bottle of fish sauce was way too much, effectively the
whole thing boiled in it. It was so salty and fermented that I ended up
giving it to my cats.
The problems started then as one of my favourite Tabby toms (called Jamie)
started to vomit and went into a fit, spraying diarrhoea all over my
kitchen.. I had him destroyed as I could not afford the vets bill and I
feel bad about that !
I don’t think I will be following your recipes again Gordon Rumsey !!!

Cooked this for tea and its the bomb, makes plain boring rice taste unreal,
I halved the chilli and it still has a kick. I also used soy sauce rather
than fish sauce.

The video is much too close-up and fast, it makes me feel uneasy and
slightly dizzy and frankly I think it’s done just so we can’t see it isn’t
Gordon himself cooking but he only provides commentary. I won’t criticise
the recipe as it’s what Ramsay (or his team) has decided is best albeit my
own differs quite a bit. Next time either have Gordon cook it or host it on
a different channel, I’m here to watch him cook and not feel nauseous from
a cooking video – a bit counterproductive in my opinion.

Fucking annoying filming…. 90% of time you can’t see anything because
it’s either out of focus and blurry, or so far zoomed in you can only see
random movement. Cameraman, kick yourself in the face.

A good fried rice is based on 3 main ingredients, eggs fried to fragrance,
dried rice and soy sauce. Why add eggs last and seasoning since you have
already added fish sauce??!! I have to say you F*** this dish up big time.
Sorry Michelin Chef you might be good at some stuff but this dish is really
screwed. Hope that was not you cooking.

Cooking delicious rice doesn’t have to be complicated, this recipe take no
longer than 5 minutes with advance prep.

I’m sorry gordon, but i can already taste this dish and it has no real
taste… Although you correctly said this rice was fragrant it’s no
different from just regular rice. To really add flavor to this dish people
add some left over grilled chicken along with the garlic ginger and chilli,
fry it up then add the veggies. Also i encourage you all to add about 1
tablespoon of oyster sauce and 2 tsp of soy sauce to replace the water for
“steam”
