This unbeatable combination of chocolate and ginger is sweet and a bit spicy. Perfect for dinner parties, perfect for Valentine's Day… a really great recipe.

isnt it funny, british people invented the slogan “made in germany” to warn
people not to buy “low quality” stuff. and now, gordon uses miele, wüsthof
and stuff. he knows who does it best. the german masterrace :D

You have a world wide audience and yet you don’t see it fit to convert the
metric as you go along? Please make easy for those of us who are dumb and
don’t have a scale, thank you.

Genuine question…. If you weigh out the ingredients perfectly to the
gram, how can the final mixture be too thick and in need of milk?

My… I’ve made this cake.. and it tastes super ultra delicious. I was
worried that cream with only ginger without sugar wouldnt taste so good..
but the sweetness of chocolate and cake made it extremely delicious.

I had a problem though. I’ve whipped cream perfectly, it wasnt dropping but
after adding ginger it started to seperate.. Of course i saved it somehow
by making a new one but stiill..
Maybe the reason was that it was so hot outside today, so aswell in my
house.

Anyway, thank you Mister Gordon for that delicious recipy. I’ll correct my
mistakes in time and master this cake.
