I’ve been messing around with this recipe… changed the spices to garlic
powder, ginger, and chili… giving it a bit of a far east flavour and then
instead of yoghurt dipping sauce used simply soy sauce… delicious… next
I plan to add some corriander to the spinach and make a dipping sauce of
fish sauce, soy, and lime with a teaspoon of sugar. It seems a very
versatile recipe that can be expanded upon to give different flavours… I
already gave it a Caribbean twist adding scotch bonnet and allspice with a
bbq type sauce

I have actually made this a few times and it’s awesome. I didn’t realize
this would be a good dipping sauce with the koftas though. Will surely try
next time. Thanks.

LOL I don’t think it was him who cooked it. You don’t see his face a single
time in the vid.

This is how you get the best out of Tahini paste.

It was extra sticky to the pan and not firm. Is it possible that I mess it
with adding boiled chickpeas instead of this one from can?

Looks tasty to the untrained eye, but what kind of pH rating would you give
that sauce?
I would say its about 3, which can trigger bad reactions in scientific
tests

I couldn’t understand the recipe because all of those ingredients were
spices with uncommon names

I really, really want to make this for a long time now. I do not have a
food processor to reach that texture. I do not have a mortar and pestle
either. My only option is to put the canned chickpeas in a Ziploc bag, seal
loosely, then bam it repeatedly with a meat tenderizer, though I am not
sure how crushed the chickpeas will be, but hopefully enough so I can mold
them. :)
