Chef visits a shark port: Gordon Ramsay

Janice Jameson

March 24, 2015

In Gordon Ramsay's Shark Bait, the world's most famous chef will expose the shocking practices that are threatening the existence of one of the earth's most amazing creatures and confront the illicit fishermen, traders and diners who are responsible for the shark's precipitous decline.

In an attempt to gain a further understanding to the regulation of shark finning, Gordon Ramsay visits a shark port and is again swiftly asked to leave.

im from hong kong and i am completely against shark fin soup. its sad to
see my whole family however, loves it. they do support me however, and i
thank them for that. my parents even avoided shark fin soup on the menu on
their 25th anniversary! i dream of one day, the shark fin industry will be
closed down (hopefully by me) and we all can see these beautiful animals
swim freely

@67mustangreg You calling anyone retarded is the epitome of irony. 1) You
fail to define barbarism. 2) You fail to take into account practices in
other parts of the world. Google “factory farming”. 3) Being “educated”,
you missed out on the proper use of quotation marks. lol 4) Also, those who
educated you failed to let you know about the argument from authority
fallacy. 5) Do you mean your education or your IQ? You do know the
difference, don’t you?

I respect Gordon, but he is a bit hypocritical here. I don’t get why he is
against shark finning, but he uses force fed geese liver in his menu.

I’m Asian but I disapprove this. I’m no vegan or something but it’s just so
wrong watching these poor sharks being killed just for their fins. It’s
illogical, it might be a culture in some asian countries but this is too
much. It’s sickening.

What is wrong with these people, killing sharks! Standing there and
smiling, pretending like it’s a normal thing to do. They make mi sick!
Gordon you should make a documentary about the dog meat industry in Asia!
With your help we could make some changes. Thank you very much
